NZLARPS privacy policy

We collect personal information from you, including information about your:

  • name
  • contact information
  • interactions with us
  • billing or purchase information

We collect your personal information in order to:

  • manage your membership of NZLARPS and fulfil our statutory duties under s22 (external link) of the Incorporated Societies Act 1908;
  • inform you of incorporated society business, such as the AGM;
  • where specifically authorised, inform you of upcoming larp events.

Your information is generally accessible to national and regional committee members. In addition to them, we may share this information with:

  • event organisers in order to confirm entitlement to discounts.
  • affiliated businesses (such as Paddywhack) in order to confirm entitlement to discounts.
  • organisers of NZLARPS projects to enforce the NZLARPS Code of Conduct.

When your information is shared, we limit the information shared to the minimum necessary, and make it clear that it is not to be used for other purposes.


We keep your information safe by storing it in systems (the NZLARPS website, official Gmail accounts) which are accessible only to authorised users. Information may sometimes be temporarily stored elsewhere in the custody of authorised holders.
